Church offers a Sung Tridentine Latin Mass at 10am on Sundays (as of 3/1/2020). Museum portion is a bit lacking in terms of information provided, but is interesting enough to spend the few minutes looking at the ruins.

Every monument included in the Toledo tourist bracelet is interesting in different ways. This church has a Visigoth column with Christian carvings. Like other churches in Toledo, it was formally a mezquita. Archaeological excavations at the site can be seen in a courtyard behind the church, where photos show how the previous buildings were built on top of. The entire nave is a suspended floor over further excavations of Roman remains. There's a tower too.

Impressive archeological remains under the church, dating back to Roman times.

I'm giving this 4 stars because it really is such a mix of things, I'm not sure I got it to appreciate it fully. After visiting the visual fest that is Toledo Cathedral, what can top that? This little building is a mixture of an archelogical site, mosque and church and shows how religious buildings got adapted and built on or over the years as various groups claimed and reclaimed them.

This is the only place in Toledo and its province where the Traditional Latin Mass (Roman Rite) is celebrated.
