24 years ago it was an idyllic campsite, today and after the catastrophe it is abandoned. A great storm on August 7, 1996 completely washed away it. There were 86 deaths and numerous material damages.

Former Las Nieves campsite that in 1966 on August 7 was devastated by the rise of the torrent with water and neighborhood perishing in those of 80 people and leaving a desolate landscape, now it is a park dedicated to the people who unfortunately died there in You can see some monuments that remember these people because they did not want to rebuild the campsite for fear that this misfortune would happen.
