A beautiful town in the foothills of Mount Bigüenzo, is a hidden place because, like many towns in the region; the highway dies in the. The town is very well preserved with large centenary houses, inhabited mostly only in summer. Surrounded by Heras and oak groves, it is a beautiful place if you like hiking, with stunning views, for being on the highest peak in the area. This small town also has one of the longest and most impressive oaks in the country, being a thousand-year-old tree with a trunk for which 7 people would be needed to surround it. The winter picture is worth seeing with great snowfall, spring and summer fill of green the town and the surroundings with a leafy forest that hides foxes, wild boars and roe deers, being a deciduous forest in autumn the polychromy of reddish and brown tones makes it even more beautiful.
