Spectacular place to leave the car and start a route on foot or by bike. Green and leafy forests, incredible views. Throughout the initial part, the forest is so steep that you can only follow the path. You reach the river again and the paved track reopens. Beautiful!

The Estós valley is amazing. A valley in the heart of the Pyrenees to be strolling through for a whole week. Quite busy in summer but without the feeling of overwhelm that you can find in other areas of the Pyrenees in summer. Highly recommended.

It is at the end of the town of Benasque, almost touching France. The views of the valleys and mountains take your breath away. A large car park next to a beautiful path to the lakes.

It is a very comfortable place to get to with a small very signposted detour from the road and there is a lot of space where you can leave your car to do a lot of hiking routes
