Impressive to see an abandoned town, whose only memory left, is half a church

Close to Layna is the uninhabited Obetago, whose ruins can hardly be seen, except for the church of San Gínes, from the road that leads to Anguita. The truth is that Madoz (1849) explains the depopulation of the town, at that time with only one neighbor, due to the terrible mortality produced in people and livestock by the corrupted waters of its ponds and ponds.

The ruins of the depopulated Obra are preserved showing us the decadence of an uninhabited town. It is worth visiting them !!
