Nice place but to get there it is necessary to do it from the town of Cantalojas and that means more than 2.5 hours one way and as many back, the tracks are closed to vehicle traffic and if you enter with the car it is very possible that they will denounce you Since it is a natural park.nThe last part of the route is very complicated by the orography and vegetation, there is no path to follow.

Long and unmarked path, full of weeds. Easy not to find the place. I went in August and there was hardly any water. Of course, snakes whatever you want.nSince 2019 there is a barrier that prevents access by car from the outskirts of town, it has become a hard walk. The road is guarded by the forester, watch out for fines.nNot worth it.

The experience was a disaster. We could not bring the car due to the economic sanctions of about 300 euros. There was no signposted path and we had to cross many almost inaccessible stretches of weeds as well as the river (there was no facilitated step, we had to take off our shoes) in order to reach the other shore. By the time we arrived, we barely had the courage to enjoy anything, especially my partner, soaked up after scurrying across the river.

Bad experience. Parking far and poorly enabled, the stones shattered the bottom of the car. The road to the pools is horribly poorly marked and its access is practically impossible, the slopes are rock walls that slide with the minimum. In addition, the pools live up to their name, they seem to be a black pit of waste. In addition the access is poorly indicated on the internet and we had to ask, something that the locals did not seem to like. I would not go back

It is a little accessible place so I recommend to go provided with adequate footwear (Land / Water). Also remember that to access you can go by a forest track (you need a car card for € 5 ask Cantalojas Town Hall) and from where the car is parked to the pool there is a walk of an hour and a half of medium difficulty. But the tour is worth it since it is not usually traveled.
