A trick I learned from tour guides highlighting dusty mosaics in the hot sun in Volubilis, Morocco...nn⚠ufe0f Pour your clean bottled water over the petroglifos to highlight them.nnDo not stand on them. Enjoy them with care and leave them for future generations.nnYou can get here on taxi and a walk up. Petroglyphs where the months of the year were counted, 13 months * 28 days (moon phase)nBeautiful place, with a lot of charm and magic. Very accessible from the road.

It is worth a visit both for its historical value and for the panoramic views that are presented to us over the Ría de Muros and Noia.nIt is recommended to go with children, its access is not difficult, although if you walk from the nearby town of Louro, the uphill is considerable in some sections.nnIn a fairly good state of preservation, it is interpreted as a lunisolar calendar, not yet deciphered, associated with an altar of offerings. Like the vast majority of Galician petroglyphs, they are quite enigmatic, and from our perspective, even more so the understanding of their utility and meaning.
