I needed to change the battery in my Kia Rio 1.4 109CV and called several Kia dealers in the area to see if they had the same model. Here they confirmed to me that if they had it, it was even a superior battery. But I really installed an EFB battery when the car actually has a much higher AGM, as recommended by the manual for this model. I went back to the workshop to claim it but they insist that nothing happens. However, my usual dealer tells me that being a battery different from that indicated by the brand may affect the charging currents and could have problems with the warranty. When I return to Madrid I will go through my dealership to have it reviewed and if it is necessary to change it I will reclaim it to the brand. The Tomelloso is an official Kia dealer but Kia does not appear on the invoice, nor on the seal, nor do they accept Kia discount coupons ... However, the battery change you pay at the price of the brand (174 euros) when you really They put a quite different and inferior one.
