Sant Pere de Sorpe is a Romanesque church (11th century) located in the village of Sorpe, belonging to the municipality of Alt Àneu, in the region of Pallars Sobirà. It is located at the northeastern end of the village of Sorpe, in the place farthest from the entrance of the village from the road. It has a parish category, but is currently grouped, with the other parishes in the area and the surrounding area, in Sant Vicenç d'Esterri d'Àneu. It belonged to the old town of Sorpe It is a Romanesque temple with a Latin basilica plan with three naves and three semicircular apses, originally, of which only the north apse remains, since the central apse was converted into the entrance to the church. 1728, the header. The bell tower is rectangular, with a high entrance door. The Lombard arches of the preserved apse stand out. Inside, two Romanesque stone baptismal fonts stand out, and the altarpiece of the main altar, Renaissance, presided over by a Romanesque carving of Saint Peter, both restored by the Restoration Service of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The Romanesque paintings, taken in two campaigns (1929 and 1964) are in the Museu d'Art de Catalunya, in Barcelona.
