Beautiful place, friendly peacocks, nice and shady, lots of benches. The birds don't like the seeds they sell, so we gave them our croissant. I recommend bringing bread for good photos with the peacocks.

The hotel would have got five stars but staff have a habit of disappearing at crucial times. Waiting at the bar for five minutes despite pressing the call button. The breakfast staff especially the girl who cooks the hot food made people wait while she disappeared for no apparent reason and then she got the order wrong. The pool, grounds and rooms are lovely.

It's just fabulous. We rebooted and have had another weekend at the hotel. We feel like we have been on holiday for a week yet only there 2 night each time. It's a gem of a hotel
