To visit from the village of Sant Llorenç de Morunys, very close, about 15 minutes walk.
Jose Antonio Marmol (11/29/2019)
It is located at 933.1 m. Altitude near the edge of the east of the road that leads from Sant Llorenç de Morunys to La Coma, just beside the terme de Guixers with that of Sant Llorenç de Morunys. The hermitage is enclosed in a low stone wall enclosure (in some places it does not exceed 30 cm.). This enclosure, in addition to the hermitage, includes another smaller enclosure that probably had been the function of a cemetery although there is no evidence of any grave and the source of the Santa Creu d'Ollers. Santa Cruz plant of Ollers The hermitage (14.8 x 5.80 m.) Is of a single rectangular nave raised to the east by a semicircular apse. This single nave is covered by a roof with two tiled water. The parament of the walls is made with stones of different sizes placed in rows and squared to pots of pots. The apse is built on a stone base made up of a triple semicircular staircase that surrounds it and that was not visible until the 1950 reforms. The exterior part is decorated with 5 Lombard strings that descend to the top of the base . Between the strip and the strip are two blind arches of half a point except in the central part of the apse in which there is only one. There are also some scaffolding holes. It is crowned by an absidal cornice made with rectangular stones and covered by a semiconic roof of slabs that does not reach the level of the roof of the nave. The front is crowned by a steeple bell, with two windows covered with a half-pointed arc. The window on the right has a bell while the one on the left is empty. The access portal to the hermitage opens at the center of the frontis and is a semi-circular arch with an arc, also halfway point, made with rectangular stones. The door, of double leaf, is of wood without to iron. Windows: One in the middle of the apse, two slabs and a half-pointed arch, another one with the same characteristics as the previous one, but the taller in the south facade and a third window on the door of the front of also double-stitched and half-point arc although not as varnished as the previous two but monolithic. The interior is covered with a slightly pointed vault, subdivided into three sections by three toral arches supported by backbone pillars on the side walls. The pre-abdominal arch is halfway point. The apse is covered by a quarter-round vault. In a document dated on October 14, 1084, the counts of Urgell, Ermengol III de Barbastre and his wife Adeled (Adelaida de Besalú) donated to the monastery of Sant Llorenç in the church of Santa Creu de the "Villa de Ollerios".
