A dam more than the Romans.nThis specifically served to supply drinking water to the city of Toletum, today Toledo, through the Toledo aqueduct that had its greatest expression on the elevated part with a large bridge where the water flowed over the Tagus river and that departed of what is now the infantry academy and reached the immediate vicinity of the alcazar.nThis dam retained the waters of the Guajaraz stream and today, despite the abandonment by our authorities, large canvases of its wall remain standing.nWe hope that in the near future this great monument that our Roman past left us will be valued and will come out of the ostracism in which it is located
