An impressive building but access on foot is not well indicated. Of the 3 parts you can only visit one. It is scarce and the guide looks like a robot that does not make the visit attractive. The best views from the moment you go up to the building. The interior is worth the lobby and staircase. There is little else to see.

Apart from being an excellent Spanish-speaking Master's University, it is a gem of conservation of the building that once belonged to a cloister of Jesuit monks.

The guy who guided us very nice, it is true that the visit is short because for the vastness of the building, the visit is practically 4 or 5 areas, that is, impressive for the restoration work carried out. For the price € 3.50, that's fine. Access by car costs € 2 more per car.

In Comillas the visit of the University is a must. We had visited the environment several times, which is wonderful, with a lot of grass and views of the Cantabrian Sea, but we had never done the guided tour. We were a little disappointed, really. What we have seen is impressive, how careful it is and the detail of the incredible construction but they only show you the entrance once you have passed the door of the virtues, the staircase and a chapter house. They then take you to another corridor to see a courtyard and the facade of the church that is inside. It is seen through windows. That does explain to you that there is a beautiful underground room and that the church is the only one with tiles in the country, but they do not show them to you. The visit is scarce, I think they could teach something more even if it is in the process of restoration. In many Spanish monuments they do.

I wanted to thank the kindness of Felipe, the security guard. We got there and the building was closed, so my four teenagers already had an excuse to complain, but thanks to Felipe they loved the visit. He told them a lot of anecdotes about the building and also left them entertained for a long time deciphering the Puerta de las Virtudes. It is very appreciated to find people who without having to make things easier for you. Thanks again Felipe, we hope to return when it is open and to greet you. The site is spectacular.
