We did not visit the house, however there is a playground in front of it where the views are amazing. Very relaxing place

** - A must visit ... the house of Duke Almodóvar del Río ... Located outside Comillas, on the top of a hill, overlooking the sea and with breathtaking views, an immense, delimited and walled estate. A small and old iron gate acts as the main entrance, a tiny sign indicates the name of the street (Prado de San Jose)… The house is more of a spectacular mansion… With an unmistakable English touch, romantic and with a touch of Gothic terror , its multiple roofs covered in black slate, stand out from the structure of elongated lines and finished in wood, the two floors and an attic. Its façade is covered with ivy, very well cared for and trimmed ... It looks like the house from the Alfred Hitchcok movie Psychosis ... Built in the 19th century It served as the second residence of the Duke of Almodóvar del Río ... At present, it can be rented for the celebration of events or for the filming of movies ... it has been the scene of several horror films, such as Sexykiller, by Miguel Martí, or The Valdemar inheritance ... You can't visit the inside, it's a shame, I'm sure it hides beautiful details inside ... DO NOT STOP coming to see it from the outside, it's amazing

It is in a spectacular place such as quotes. However, it has no more. A small stopover to any other more interesting place like thenCemetery or the Mirador del Faro.
