We warned. If walking from ship port there are hundreds of steps, one point you think you've made the top. No your half way lol!! However there is a road that goes up 3/4 way, so if mobility is an issue Taxi up is my advice

It commemorates an interesting event of the Vigo history, but the monument itself is very simple, just three anchors. There's a nice view on the bay, but it's better to get higher to the castle.
