Beautiful palace! The displays are accompanied by a short description even though you don't have an audio guide.

Beautiful palace! Compares well with that of La Granja de San Ildefonso, and to a lesser extent with the royal palace in Madrid. Fully recommended for a 1h visit before strolling through the gardens in the evening. The arabesque room and the Chinese room are highlights. Pity that no pictures are allowed - this should change. Otherwise, 5 star experience.

This and all surroundings will keep you busy the whole day. Wonderful place to stroll non-stop. There are many nice places around to have lunch too.

The theater was closed but the ticket is half off so no problem Still don't understand why I can't take pictures of Patrimonio Nacional sites if we're the ones that pay for the upkeep...
