A good way to start the Pedriza gaits is to undertake easy travel covering the Elefantito figures, the Snail and Indian. Parked in El Tranco, the trail starts to the right of Julian house. Soon we encounter the viewpoint of the Tranco, small landing from which the castle of Manzanares and La Peña Sacra hermitage, with the reservoir as a backdrop are sighted.nReaching the vast grassy carpet of the Great Glen, the imam of the upright pinga Five Cestos draws us to the Elefantito. Continuing appear white markings and yellow of the Maeso path that takes us back to the Great Glen, to the left of which new white markings and yellow lead to the Caracol, whose figure could go unnoticed in the direction of travel adopted . Attentive therefore not pass by without merendárnoslo.nA little stretch of the Caracol and the right of the path, on a landing appears a wall to which must be addressed within walking distance to undertake a brief trepadita leading to the cave of the Ave Maria.nBack to the path, careful not to pass in front of the natural escaloncito marking the fork to the right leads to the Indian and proceeds to the parking lot. Otherwise the natural flow of the road straightened out drags us to crash into the fence insurmountable that prevents the passage towards housing planted its length.

Charming stone in the shape of a snail, found in the Pedriza Anterior, attached to the Maesda Trail.
