Might be different during summer time, but compared to the other camping sites I have been, I must admit that I didn't liked this place so much. Staff was not the most friendly one, only cold water (maybe you had to pay for warm water, but I haven't seen any explanations for that), shower and toilets were clean, but could need some repairs. The tent site might have been nice but it was closed and on the hard camper ground it was impossible to put the tent poles.

Ground was as hard as tarmac. We had to tie our tent to trees and bikes, as we were unable to get our pegs into the ground anywhere on the site.nnNot a pretty campsite. No grass. Hard dirt ground. Lots of trees though.nnCampsite is in the middle of nowhere by the main road. The restaurant and pool were closed in October. There didn’t seem to be any facilities nearby.nnShowers and toilets were OK when we were there.nnMérida is an amazing place to visit though. Don’t let the campsite put you off.

If you're a tent camper, beware! 2 km from city + no public transport in a vicinity => 1 hour walk to city center. Maybe it's possible to hitchhike out with caravaners, but don't count on it. Anyways, to get back you have to walk for at least 30 mins on a road without sidewalks... Just something to consider.nOtherwise, camping is pretty enough to stay.

It's good price, ok showers, ok restaurant BUT there's are dogs out barking literally all night right next to camping slots!!! So if you're looking for a good night's sleep you might want to reconsider.nnC'mon some common sense!? ud83dude23

Nice campsite and excellent location to then go and visit the roman ruins the following day. Hot showers, shower block is dated but showers hot which is the main thing and clean. There are dogs at one end of the campsite but just don’t pitch up right by them and you will be fine. Nice and peaceful at night and there is a bar if you want a drink and snack. There is also a small playpark which our toddler enjoyed.
