It's supposed to open at 5:30 in the summer time ... It's 17:37 and no one shows up ... Once the abuse of public services becomes evident ... What a shame, that's how motivates the people, especially the younger ones .. the future of our society

The experience in this place is appalling. More than a library it looks like a mall. The noise level is brutal, impossible to concentrate. Not to mention the opening hours, which is ridiculous and frustrating. Only three hours in the morning and three (and a half) in the afternoon. The library is a public service paid with our taxes and as such must be at the service of citizens. Other public libraries in the province have a much wider schedule, even from smaller municipalities than Valdepeñas. You should have a longer schedule, such as from 8 to 14 and from 16 to 21 or even an uninterrupted schedule. This is possible because other public libraries in the province do so; Only will is necessary. This is achieved without the need to hire more staff through staggered shifts, that is, an officer enters at 8 and leaves at 12, another enters at 10 and leaves at 14 and so on. It is inefficient for all officials to concentrate at the same time. It is a public service that must meet the needs of the citizen who pays it with their taxes and not vice versa.

A place that allocates more reading activities to children than to adults. Poor location of adult reading books and shortage of computer stations to locate them (parallel elimination of paper catalogs). The librarians maintain a continuous loud chatter between themselves and the visitors, behaving as if they were in a bar or a shop. Poor punctuality and closure of the premises before any festive event.
