Thanks to Father Rubén, the current parish priest fills the church and also makes the youth of the neighborhood take an interest in the word of God, which says a lot about him. It is a pleasure to go to hear the word of God. Since this parish priest is here, many improvements have been made in reference to activities, festivals and processions that the previous parish priest had removed, in addition to increasing the passion of the Living Christ, which are scenes of the Passion of the Lord that serve as plastic catechesis to everyone who approaches to the Lucero neighborhood to see her. They have been recreating it for five years and that makes the whole neighborhood and many people from other neighborhoods even from surrounding towns turn to this activity this recreation is always done a week before Easter. People from all cities come to see this recreation I invite you to visit us and give your opinion. I also invite you to spend Holy Wednesday from nine o'clock to see our procession of our virgin Our Lady of La Macarena, Jesus captive and crowned that the latter is the only step of all valdepeñas de costaleras his meeting that is worthy of see him
