A great sight to see in Valencia and a symbol of the town. Part of the old medieval fortifications of the town, this gate is large, and imposing. A great architectural and historical attraction. Entrance is free of charge (at the time I had visited it in August 2020) and there are some great views to be had in the tower.

Historical place that allows a very good view of Valencia. I visited during the week and admission was free.

A beautiful example of late medival city gate with a special twist: it is open to the inside of the city so that it can never be used against the citizens. A nice viewing point also.
