rafa romanillos (01/03/2021)
A jewel of Valencian heritage in ruins as a reflection of the capitalist failure of today's society.nIt is a religious complex and building, although it has its origins in the 13th century, it was built during the 16th and 17th centuries with Valencian Gothic and Baroque styles, completed in the 18th century. After several different uses to the original, it is currently abandoned by its current owners.

Place worthy of a horror movie. The building is abandoned and totally neglected which gives it a rather gloomy appearance. The exteriors also help to achieve this effect. You cannot access the interior except in some rooms that are open and it shows that people are surely passing to make a bottle. It's a shame because if you take care a little you could restore it and turn it into a tourist place to visit.

A shame the state in which it is. It is light years away from what it was during the 80s where events were held at the same time as it was a hotel. The owner of the complex was a photographer from Carcagente who ran it for several years. From its management, it had many ups and downs until it has become what sadly is seen.
