Missleading! A horrible start to a beautiful Toledo day. The museum is a joke...you pay 10 euros to take you to the city center and to the museum. THEY GO NOWHERE NEAR THE CITY CENTER... the bus drops you off around 800m away from the train station, you can walk that in 10 minutes. From there you still have to go uphill with the escalators to the actual city center about 10 minutes. The so called museum is about 10km away from Toledo. They need to work on their customer service and properly explain what they offer.

This is a store with a mediocre exhibition, nothing of a museum. They included this visit in the Fly Toledo tour, and made us stay 1 hour in a store filled with cheap souvenirs sold as high quality artisanship, instead of using that hour visiting other places in Toledo. Why would anybody want to see swords from movies and series like Game of Thrones in a city centuries old filled with history?

The Museum has recently open but it has a very good shuttle service from the city center to the location at the outskirts of Toledo. It is perfect to scape a hot day and for kids.nnIt has a virtual room that we didn't try because of the lack of time, and a collection of emblematic swords from movies and history. At the end of the visit there is a shop with crafts from the city.nnThe funniest part was the photoshoot with a couple of enthusiast photographers that will dress you up as a medieval knight or a princess, and give you tips to look nice in the pictures. The attention and their level of English was amazing.nnAs a weak point, the tour guide who attended us at the entrance doesn't know how to speak very good English, which resulted in a poor explanation of the exposition itself. However, there are interactive screens for a deeper understanding of the pieces.nnAlso, we bought a pretty expensive pendant and the chain, supposedly with a gold-bath, has lost his color after one week. It has been a bit of a dissapointment, since it was not a cheap piece of jewelry.
