ud83dudc4dud83cudf7aud83dude0e☕nThe church of Sant Jaume de Montagut located in Querol (Alt Camp), is one of the unique examples of the Catalan Gothic religious architecture of the 14th century due to the typology of its floor plan and structural solutions. Architecturally, it has a rectangular floor plan, with a single nave with two sections covered with tiles on two sides. It has seven chapels that form a polygonal apse on seven sides and covered with transept vaults. The façades have a predominance of the plenum over the void, with large buttresses on the north façade. On the south façade there are two belfry bells and the access door is formed by three semicircular arches. The BCIN declaration of July 2013 defines a protective environment for the church of Sant Jaume de Montagut with the aim of guaranteeing the visibility of the monument and protecting the subsoil given the possible existence of archaeological remains.

Very cool! A pity that is no longer open as it was 20 years ago. Pro has not lost charm.nA good place to go see the stars.
