This 18th century parish preserves the altarpiece with the image of thenpatron of the same era.nnIn 1752 Don Manuel Alvaro de los Ríos was a beneficiary priest, and there wasna brotherhood of the Holy Sacrament, to take care of the luminary, etc.nThere is a table in this church that could be a mortuary funeral,nwhere the offerings and candles were placed. It has carved a figure apparently crowned, with a chalice in his hand, surrounded by a cord with tassels at the ends. Below, in an inscription, he says: ((SANTA MARIA MAGDALENA PRAYS FOR NOVIS MARTINO, 1573 YEARS OLD)). This date and thenPrayer to Mary Magdalene, makes us understand that the church existed much earlier than successive reforms or reconstructions suggest.
