Absolutely beautiful, it's worth getting higher away from the mass of people who don't venture far from the car park. Worth getting a guide or someone who knows the paths to really explore.

What a great place to go hiking.. Every where you look is a magic picture, nature gives a magic impression of rock formations, rivers, trees, plants and animals.. The area is very big so you can rich it from different directions. Its a great option for any time of the year .

Great place for a hiking daytrip from Madrid. However the signs are not good enough without a map so make sure you have one or pack a gps. Phones will have no coverage when you get a little bit further away from the carpark.

A great area in the North of Madrid for trekking, bouldering and sport climbing. It's possible to go there with public transportations from plaza de castilla. There are more than 3000 boulders and some lead climbing routes. They're all shown in the guidebook with adress and grade. The type of the stone is granite.
