Me, my wife and 2 friends took the hike from El Tranco up to the charca verde. Definitely recommend this hike if you are a nature lover. The hike follows the river all the way up to the pond, giving you some fantastic views alongs the way as well as the chance to enjoy nature and possibly the opportunity to see some of the local wildlife. ( please remember that the trail is in a natural park and respect the flora and the fauna. Please do not litter and most definitely do not feed the animals. They are wild animals and should be treated with respect and appreciated from an appropriate distance.) Enjoy your hike up to La Charca Verde!

Wonderful place!!! And the walk to go there is very easy...I think it took us around 1,5 hours from the parking place to go there!! There are little basseins where you can jump and enjoy some refreshment :) the water in August was also very warm. A perfekt day trip outside of Madrid!
