Nice to see a survival but another tree fell down over it and the area was delimited for safety so we couldn't see it properly.

Yew is a very special tree among the trees that live in the Sierra de Madrid.nFew have this development that is only achieved with the passage of time.nMany were cut down as their wood was very strong and was appreciated for many carpentry jobs.nThe trail is easy to access. Getting to the tree from the path is a little more complicated, but with care everything is possible

Exemplary to protect and care for future generations. It is exciting to think that it was planted when Colon discovered America. It is important to respect the perimeter marked with tape to avoid stepping on and compacting the ground that prevents proper nutrition. You will see that they have cut trees around them to improve their health. To those who liked it, I recommend visiting the centennial chestnut tree in El Tiemblo (Ávila).
