ENRIC AND ROBERT LOOK AT ARCHITECTSnCAMPUS CERDANYA SPORTS RESIDENCE OF 53 ROOMS 2007rThe building is born out of the desire to direct most of the rooms to the best views, creating an empty center, a space created by the bodies of the building and the landscape. A building that, starting from the public scale of the equipment, seeks to capture the closest image of the Pyrenean typology, where the roof becomes the fourth facade. It is intended that the slate roof that is born from the floor in the U testers crosses all the parts of the building. This roof becomes the distinguishing and unique element of the building.rGuaranteed under the roof are the rooms as shown on the facade. The structural and functional skeleton generates all the facades. The closure of this reticle forms a texture of voids and full, of transparency and opacity, which emphasizes the independence between structural reticle and facade skin, skin that covers the entire body of the building.rIt is a personal research project in different fields, which are repeated:r1.- Mediation_ between the City Council and the property, Given being a private development building on publicly owned equipment lots made under concession scheme.r 3.- Technique: It is a traditional looking building but made of 90% prefabricated systems, prefabricated bolted profile structure, alveolar slabs and lightweight closure systems. The only traditional element is the stone wall understood as a prefab, modulated and generated between trays and precast pillars.r4.-Typological: the desire to orient most of the rooms to the best views, creating an empty center, a space created by the bodies of the building and the landscape.r5.- Sense of form with respect to what you have to be and respect where you are. It is explained in the previous sections, border binding, middle-scale topographic form of the Pyrenees skyline. 6.- Haptic project strategy. Similarly, it works from sensory perceptions, as a reinforcement of the ocular-centrism and moving away from the pure visual. The materiality, the light the color the relation with the outside reinforcing this haptic conception.
