The visit to the Diocesan Museum of Ciudad Real was very enriching. Small museum although with several works of interest and value (Immaculate by Lucas Jordán or some painting by Caxés or Cerezo). The collection is based mainly on sculptures and paintings that are owned by different religious organizations in the province. The steps of Holy Week are a pass and seeing them closely impresses. Too bad the museum is not as well known and visited as the rest of those in Ciudad Real. Ana, a very nice and attentive woman. We must further promote the visit to this museum.

Precious #museum of sacred art inaugurated in 1990, has an important collection of 45 paintings, 46 sculptures from the 13th century, choral and altar books, liturgical ornaments, Holy Week steps, etc. It is divided into two rooms and a patio. Very friendly staff, no photography is allowed, just let me take the steps of Easter that are in the courtyard. It is worth a visit and the entrance is free.
