I know enough the area is well to know if you are from the town but from my opinion they could see trying to promote it more and not leaving it semi abandoned how it seems that it is for personal reasons and spent a lot of time nearby.

There is very little left of the hermitage, a wall, some columns and the altar area. At the time a restoration of the area was made but it is currently a little abandoned. It can be accessed by vehicle on an unpaved track. You can also access walking, along the way you can see signs with the rules of San Benito.
