Here on holiday. The beach is fantastic. The local people are really helpful and you feel more respected if you try to use simple Spanish greetings and phrases.

Fairly quiet seaside town with train station . Has plenty of shops and bars. Access to the beach is under the railway line

The station has two platforms. Most of the time trains use platform 1 for both directions, but occasionally two trains arrive at the same time, and then the train in the direction of Blanes uses platform 2. But there are no electronic signs to tell you when to use platform 2, and we even missed one train when the useless booking clerk told us to use platform 2, and the train to Blanes arrived at platform 1 and we couldn't run through the subway fast enough. We have used this station on several occasions this week, and every time, someone misses the Blanes train by being on platform 2. We found that the only solution is to always wait on platform 1, and when you see the train coming in the distance, check the colour of the signal just past the Blanes end of platform 1. If the signal is green, the train is coming to platform 1; if the signal is red, the train is coming to platform 2, so you need to run under the subway to platform 2!!!
