On our way to Santiago we arrive at Alcala del Ebro and visit the Church of the Holy Trinity, a Baroque Temple (18th century). It has a main Churrigueresque altarpiece (end of the 17th century) that forms an imposing canvas representing the Holy Trinity, escorted by Solomonic columns and crowned with the shield of the Dukes of Villahermosa. Besides, the altarpiece of San Antonio de Padua (XVI), another of San Agustín (XVIII) and two more paintings, one of San Francisco de Borja (XVII) and another of the Crucified (XVII). We continue our way bordering the Ebro river.

A small and very nice place to visit and walk

Baroque Catholic temple built between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries located in the center of town. Currently under the invocation of the Holy Trinity. Made of brick with a Greek cross plan inscribed in a square with a floor plan of 3 naves. It has 2 rows of benches with capacity for about 100 people, elevated choir, chapels in the corners and altar in front. Good access for the disabled to the area of worship. The building has 3 towers, 2 of them twin in the corners of the octagonal facade and another in the smaller back. Paintings and sculptures inside S. Francisco de Borja, S. Gregorio Ostiense, Virgen de los Dolores, S. Antonio de Padua, Cristo de la Cruz, Santísima Trinidad, St. Barbara, S Roque.
