Nestled below the low mountain peaks and red limestone escarpments of La Sierra Calderona, the Monastery of Santo Espíritu is located at a beautiful and easily accessible spot in these mountains.nnThe monastery garden is almost always open and although the church has set hours, it is possible to visit or attend mass.nnThe bells ring out regularly on Sundays at 10.30am and all this can be enjoyed from a peaceful terrace below the algorobia tree eating almuerzo from the Monastery cafeteria.
