Very nice and restored academist style cathedral, begun in the 1700s. Bells still work and mark the hour and half hour. The two sculptures on the facade represent Peter and Paul. The plaza is clean and busy, many people out for lunch even during COVID times. Heard a lot of Arabic being spoken, reminder of the Moors conquest of Spain. Brutal bike ride from Valencia, but there are public benches to sit and rest before returning.

Parish of Benifaio. Formerly, before the reform of the square, you could come down Santa Barbara Street and see with another charm the whole of the square, tower and parish, concealing the horrific City Hall building. But now, with the modern square, you have a gray esplanade in front of the parish that gives it a dry and not very cozy appearance. A shame.
