It was one of the many towns that the electricity companies made for the workers of the Galician dams.nToday it is abandoned, closed and in notable deterioration.nIt had several houses, a chapel and even a community center.nSome time ago there were plans to sell it and use it as a resort, but the plan did not go ahead.nA shame, as it is well located and in a quiet place with excellent views.

In the 80's that I passed through the place was still inhabited. Now in 2020 it gives something more than sadness.

Abandoned area that belongs to Iberdrola that years ago was about to be restored and become a tourist complex. This would be fantastic since it is in an incredible location. In Lugo, right on the border with Ourense in the canyon, with spectacular views and impressive roads for those who enjoy car or motorcycle.nnThe pity is that the buildings are quite damaged.
