Very interesting, it hides an incredible story, about a beggar who lived in this hermitage for 20 years, maintained by the dukes, in exchange for it appearing authentic. That is, not only pray, but leave the beard, hair and nails uncut.nLook at the pavement in front (the figures hide a meaning), and also the shape of the door and an adjoining tombstone.

According to the legend the Dukes of Osuna when building this small hermitage they thought that a true hermit should live there, so they offered a beggar the possibility of becoming a hermit and they would take care of their maintenance for life, they would also have to pray daily for the souls of the Dukes. When the hermit died, he was informed at the foot of the hermitage.

Magnificent hermitage. It is a beautiful hermitage that is located in Parque de El Capricho, which you can get to after having taken a tour of other of the many beauties that you have in the park. It doesn't matter what time of year you visit because at every moment it has a different beauty.
