Museum created by the Lourdes Parrilla García, as a tribute to her father, Antonio, who in this same place had the forge where he exercised his trade as a blacksmith. The Museum is in a building located in front of the Monastery of La Merced. It is a construction of typical Alcarrian architecture. Wooden ceilings, wrought iron railing and a large central skylight.nWe will see the atmosphere of a forge, just as it was a blacksmith's workshop in the early 20th century.nOn the ground floor, the large leather bellows, the anvil, the pitchfork, and tools such as the sharpener, the pincers or the pointers, are framed within an environment in which the wooden ceiling and the wrought iron railing of the staircase leading to the upper floor, they are bathed by a waterfall of light that comes from a large skylight that illuminates the entire room. On the upper floor there are two spacious rooms that are used for the exhibition of works made in wrought iron.
