I like short airports with long landing tracks. This one is all short, so fasten your seatbelt.

Small, cute, very friendly if you have time to spare. Free charging points. Pricey like in all airports.

Overall Alvedro is a small with a family feel airport. As expected there is only one coffe shop and a small shopping area (which personally I think is adequate for the size of the airport).nIt is a real shame that after some renovations they have upgraded the security area and have placed the duty free shop right in-front of security (users must cross through the giftshop to arrive to security) This has left family member crowding in the shop to farewell their loved ones. Before this upgrade, family members used to have enought space (without crowding) to wave away the passengers -whilst they were going through security. It is more that understandable that the ones that remain want to squeeze all time they can with the ones that go. The beauty of small airports like this one, is that they allow for a more user-friendly flying experience - like being able to say goodbye to the ones that fly out right before the boarding. In this regard, Alvedro, has lost a very important asset in benefit of a gift shop, it's a real shame.

Small but clean airport. You can go to the city by using bus and it's only 1.55 euros. The bus is every half hour on weekday and every hour in weekend.nnThere are only 6 gates. It was nice airport.nnDon't expect many shops here though.
