The path is nice, although this year it was full of ticks and the castle is in ruins

Silent witness, and little known, of our history. El Castillo is difficult to reach from the fortified Chapel of Santa Maria Assunta, who is at his feet, but a very easy walking the path that goes down to your left and slowly ascends to Fortaleza.nIt is better preserved and larger than it looks when you get to the main body at the top of the hill.nIdeal for a small family outing but ... Beware of the thousands of ticks that guard you !!!

Very demolished castle, there are a few ashlars and masonry. There is no direct path but you have to dodge scrubs that are pricked and dry trees that disturb. You see all the Cabanes-Torreblanca meadow and up to Benicàssim on the south side. The tranquility is disturbed by the proximity of the N340. At the foot of the castle there is a fortified hermitage and a cistern probably from the thirteenth century

Ideal to travel with the family on the route of the towers, either on foot or by bicycle, the castle is in very bad condition, they have cared little to keep what little remains of it.nThe watchtowers are quite good.
