The castle of VilaVella, although the area has been restored, is in a very deteriorated state, but the views and the landscape are spectacular, since you can contemplate both the mountain and the sea, which is impressive. It is an area with numerous routes for hiking enthusiasts, with an easy level and suitable for everyone.

A somewhat unknown historical place and very close to Valencia with a very easy and beautiful climb suitable for all audiences !! Interesting castle ruins with spectacular views !!!

Built on Iberian and Roman remains, the castle of La Vilavella is of Muslim origin. Built in the 10th century, it stands on top of the hill on which the current population is located. The enclosure is in ruins, with only a few lines of walls, the lower part of some towers and underground rooms, which correspond to an Arab cistern crossed by three semicircular arches in its central part.nSource: rutajauei.com
