It is the best and largest messgid in Dire Dawa

This is public space. Muslims gather here during the Eids. These are the Eid al Fitri and Eid al Adha, as well as the Mawlid - the birth date of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). It is the only place with the capacity to accommodate such massive gathering of people. It is green and clean.The place is managed my Dire Dawa municipal government. It provides the services intended - that just means large people can perform prayer at one time.
