Very friendly staff, simple but fine rooms, however even though they ensured us that they were absolutely sure that there would be water in the evening and the morning, there was none. So the day before we went on a 3 day hike without access to showers, we couldn't shower either because they promised something they couldn't deliver. Oh, WiFi is pretty good I have to say, best I've had in the country. -- Update -- In the end, there was water again in the morning so we could shower.

The building is ok and in a nice area. However, the Internet that they say is good is instead very bad, rooms are very small and toilets old and not deeply cleaned. Also, despite I asked for it twice, they did not provide me with a receipt of payment. Nothing. Not even a piece of scrap paper as a proof of payment.

Great location, nice and helpful personnel. Rooms would need someone repairs, but it's OK compared to other places in Gondar
