Blue Nile Resort Hotel

Stayed there for 2 nights and had a very pleasant experience. Staff was friendly , the entire facility was clean and the complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent.

Most decent hotel in Bahir Dar. Rooms are small but good view. Worth trying.

Stunning views of Lake Tana, and incredibly well maintained grounds that only add to the experience. Waking up to the sight of fishermen on the lake and chanting from nearby churches is really special. In terms of the facilities, there is definitely some updating needed (bathrooms are definitely tired). As others have noted, food options leave something to be desired. Staff are very kind
