South Star International Hotel

It is a nice hote with a beautiful view. Well furnished. But...the mat in the room is a bit old and needs to be cleaned or washed. Love the paintings paint by "Muluken". 😊You need to bring bathing soap since it is very small. AC was expected to be installed but they don't have, therefore it is a bit hot depending on the season and weather condition.

These place is horrible, We stay there for 4 days during Wara convention, they call a 4 start hotel and there's no AC? also the first night I can't sleep cause of mosquitos since I have to open the windows because there's not even a fan, they charge You 139 usd for a room with no ac, drain in shower plug, sauna not even work and is including in the price, no wake up calls, no wifi, and in the restaurant: terrible service and it take for ever to bring Your food (45 min.) I order I soda and never get it, my Pastor order a chicken sandwich and show up when every body finish eats even that 3 people order the same and at the same time, when He cancel than 10 min after they bring him in a plastic bag to take away, after arguing they still want to charge him for it, I never go back there againg..... I will trying Roring resort there in Awassa next time or Haile resort By Lake Awassa for sure but never there anymore

Nice centrally located place. Hospitable staff. Spa needs more manning as they refused to give service due to lack of staff. Overall good experience.
