Armaye Ethiopia Tours

We did Addis City tour with a great guide, Armaye. this tour is a very good introduction to the city of Addis. I spent 7 hours with Armaye and his driver, visiting the main sites including the National museum, the Ethnographic museum, the Heart of the ...). Since the beginning of the negotiations, Armaye has been extremely attentive, we propose an appropriate itinerary for our time, and always responding quickly to our inquiries. The tour was excellent - Armaye himself to us at the Airport with his driver and took us to the city. He genuinely seemed to love his job, and his explanations, and point-of-view, it was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed Ethiopian food, at good restaurant. We were picked up and dropped of at the airport, timely, Everything that was promised has been fulfilled, leaving us with the desire to return to Ethiopia, and make new tours with this project.

Northern Ethiopia With Armaye Ethiopia Tours We have just returned from a wonderful ten days trip through Ethiopia. Armaye Ethiopia Tours arranged a ten days tour for us in northern part of the country. They were always very attentive and I received an exquisite treatment from the agency itself and from the guides and driver who accompanied us on the tour, which are very professional and always pending. the places we covered were Gondar, Bahirdar, Simien Mountains, Axum and Lalibela. The set of stone-carved churches in Lalibela, the mountainous landscapes of that area, all the shades of green you can imagine, the people, everything is worthy of being a place to go. Our guides were always helpful and have knowledge that can fill many more visits. Through their relaxed-humorous way they also manage to pass on this knowledge and curious to do more. All the hotels booked for us were very good and comfortable. We really enjoyed every day and found Ethiopia as a fantastic country. I would recommend Armaye Ethiopia Tours very much and will definitely contact them again for our next trip in Ethiopia!

We just finished a 4 days tour with Armaye and enjoyed it very much! He and his driver Kinfe are excellent. We did a loop to the north to see the Gelada monkeys and a longer part to the South to see the Bale mountains. Armaye is a great guy! Very knowledgeable fun helpful good wildlife spotter. We saw a lot of gelada, Ethiopian wolf (we saw 4!!! And in beautiful light for pictures), giant mole rats, birds... We also saw many village, not as tourist with no contact with locals but as tourists introduce but our guide. In particular I was impressed by the construction technique for the bamboo houses and we spend some happy times learning about they construction. We ate at plenty of fun little restaurants that if I had traveled on my own I wouldn't even have recognized as restaurant!! The only bad part was not his fault! This was low season and the good hotel was under renovation so we went to the only other hotel that was very much substandard. That is over price one has to pay to visit far corners of the world. Eventually the pleasure of the whole trip totally compensate for the hotel. Kinfe the driver was really excellent. A master at dodging potholes, a great wildlife spotter, a fun guy (he taught me how to shake hands and bump shoulders 😂 like an Ethiopian!), and always a helping hand.
