we visited their office asked for car rental, we were told it was 700birr a day, a facebook chat from their page confirmed it's 700birr, a separate phone call talking to someone else confirmed it was 700birr a day for a Toyota Corolla. Upon calling for confirmation of booking a car for a day, the price suddenly changed to 2000birr. when asked why, the guy said the 700birr he told us was the daily rate for a year. i asked him why he assumed we were asking for daily rate of a year when we were in fact there to book for a tour and clearly knew we were tourists. i have a suspicion that he changed the price because i mentioned that the driver from the hotel was charging us 2500.

Excellent service. I took a last-minute day tour to Wonchi lake from Addis, together with my wife. The service and price were unbeatable. The director, Sami, catered to our needs in a way that other tour operators in Ethiopia would never come close to ( e.g. Ethio Tours and Travel - ETT, which we used and is a horrible operator). The fixed price we were quoted was very fair - the genuine smallest price they could offer (I asked other providers so I know). The driver and guide spoke English and were super nice to us. We had a minibus for us two only, pre-arranged food based on our requirements, and quite a lot of fun. They took care of negotiating with the very greedy locals at the lake, did not ask us a single cent more than we had agreed although they were charged more for the entry than usual, and made us feel safe and secure all along. Not sure why they are so much better than other operators in Ethiopia - seems like they get this thing called "customer service", and use fixed fair pricing - a rare jewel in this country. I recommend them strongly. You won't find something similar easily, and they are 3 levels above ETT, with fairer pricing.
