Only 1 or 2 of the reviews and photos are actually referring to this place. Well kept location.

A glimpse of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, CHAU PHI My first impression was that it was a great climate with an outdoor temperature of only 25oC despite being in the midday sun. As a child, in my imagination about Africa, there were arid deserts, a place of poverty and disease. Communication or textbooks mostly exploit this aspect. I left the airport in the early morning and stood at the airport gate for quite a long time just breathing - breathing and hearing the birds chirping around. The fresh air makes me feel like the atmosphere of the late spring days in Kyoto, in the small corner of the backyard after the Lab, I used to sit every early morning in May, nearly 10 years ago. The road to the hotel is not too crowded at 7 am and absolutely no motorbike running on the road. Going into the center of the city is not as loud and stuffy as I imagined before coming here. Most people walk along the road, rushing to work. Addis Ababa does not have roadside stalls. Occasionally I found very small stalls along the road and thought. Where do they eat breakfast ?! Near the center, the tall buildings started to see but it was absolutely impossible to see any hot air conditioner sticking out. I think the weather is like this, what does air conditioning do? That's true. When I checked in, I checked the room right away to see if there was any air conditioner. Great! There is no air conditioner. However, around Ks, I am building many glazing projects and maybe they will use air conditioners. The hot air conditioner will make it soon stuffy. In the afternoon, I enlisted in a walk, went to a restaurant and ordered a pizza. The waiter brought a big big cake that made me choke to eat until the last piece of cake with a bottle of beer. At the next table, many people are eating a specialty that is fresh beef (fresh and raw). They used a knife to cut each piece with a cannon and eat it well. I'll try it tomorrow. When I just got out of the restaurant, a local guy ran after me to catch up. He introduced himself as Salamon and was happy to accompany him. Ah uh. I think this body has nothing to lose but must be vigilant. Ok, start talking and drag him to rummage through the streets and streets. The first place to discover is Medhane Alem church. This is Africa's second largest church. I walk around the church but can't get in because it's not the opening time. There are many devout people around, there is respectfully bowing when passing and kneeling at the corner of the confession (perhaps). During the afternoon, I asked Salamon a lot about people, about jobs, about income, and also had a chance to learn more about the textile workers in Ethiopia when he told his sister to work. this. An interesting afternoon, lots of good information, lots of faces on the road and most of the faces exuding a cheerful, positive spirit.
