ANDENT PARK

The construction of Unity Park was initiated by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) in 2018 and officially inaugurated and opened to the public on October 10/ 2019 in the presence of great heads of states.Unity Park is located in the premises of the Grand Palace and it is composed of various historical, natural and cultural sites.The Grand Palace, where Unity Park is located, was established in 1887 and without counting Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.), the palace served as the living and working space of seven Ethiopian leaders. The palace covers an area of 40 hectares and contains myriads of historical buildings and plants that date back to the time of Emperor Menelik II.

Unity Park Ethiopia is a very good place what you need to know Unity Park Ethiopia has been open to visitors almost every day of the week since it’s inauguration on Oct 10, 2019. The National Palace was Built under Emperor Menelik II over a century ago, the Palace rests on 40,000Sqm of land. For generations, it has been viewed as the epicenter of political power, where the most powerful family in the land resides. The renovated compound incorporates several sights of interest to visitors, including an arena, a playground, a zoo,three churches,House of Royals and an imperial banquet hall. New services Available in the Park Include 1.Weekly entertainment –Azmari (Local singers) will bemade available during tours over the weekends. 2.Effective immediately, the park will be open to visitors throughout the day, lunch time included, from 9 AM to 4 PM Payments are to be made through 1. VISA Card, Master Card can be used Online Payment through the Unity Park website 4. Direct use of Commercial Bank of Ethiopia PoS, Visa Card, Master Card or Cash upon arrival at Unity Park 1. Ethiopian citizens 200 birr for regular and 1000 Birr for Special Ticket 2.Foreigners 20$(600 Birr) birr for regular and 50$(1500 Birr) for Special Ticket.the Special ticket includes immediate entrance with dedicated guides who are fluent in English, Arabic, and French.For group visitors, a list with all the names of the visitors is to be made available, along with ticket that have been prepaid for either online or at Unity Park.
