The owner is pleasant and the staff is friendly and helpful. Anytime im in lalibela ill book this hotel! Great wine selection as well.

We stayed four nights and had a great stay. The rooms were beautiful, a good size, and very clean.We slept well, and it was quite special to hear the chanting from the churches each morning. Breakfast is included, and there's a short menu with porridge, eggs etc. We mostly had eggs which were lovely with fresh home made bread and local honey. Airport collection is possible, but not included in the price of your stay. Location is perfect for seeing the churches - you can easily walk to them. WiFi worked well, and there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom heater. We had laundry done at a very reasonable price. We also arranged a driver/guide for the churches in the countryside around Lalibela. This was a reasonable price, but the driver's English wasn't great. I suppose there are pros and cons to this, depending on how talkative you like your guides to be! For us it was fine, but occasionally frustrating when we had a question that couldn't be answered. Highly recommended.

Close to the sites, nice people.

The rooms are spacious, good beds, clean. The showers had very hot water. Lighting in the room could be improved a bit, I think. The staff go out of their way to please and help clients. It’s location is good: near to Beit Giyorgis Church and the souvenir shops at the roundabout and all along the Main Street.
